How we deliver
As senior as you need.
As large as it takes.
One partner signs it.
A core partnership, senior practitioners on call, a global engineering partner and four specialist firms. Assembled to the engagement, mobilised in weeks, and signed by one named partner who carries it to the end.
The question behind the question
“Are you big enough for us?”
It is the fair question, and it is usually asked politely, late in a first call. The honest answer is that EAIC is deliberately small where seniority matters and deliberately large where capacity does. The people who scope your work, sit in front of your board and sign the final report are a small, named group. The people who build, test and run alongside them are not.
What does not change with scale is who answers for it.
Four tiers, one accountability
How a team gets built.
Tier one
The partnership
Named partners who sign the engagement. Scope, commercial terms, board delivery and final sign-off never leave this tier — and nobody takes that seat who hasn’t run the function in the line rather than advised on it from outside.
Tier two
Senior practitioners on call
Six to seven practitioners from the top of UK fintech consulting, every one at C-suite level. Between them, their careers cover every major UK bank and insurer. Two weeks to put one in the room.
Tier three
Engineering at scale
When consulting becomes a build, capacity comes from our global engineering partner: a standing development team, around fifteen on average, scaling as an engagement demands, with a banking and insurance track record measured in decades, across Europe, the US and the Gulf.
Tier four
Specialist firms
Two in India and two in Eastern Europe, each with capability we cannot buy off a shelf. They were not procured. Our people have delivered alongside every one of them, and have sat in their offices.
What a team actually looks like
Typical shapes.
Every engagement is scoped on its own terms, but these are the shapes most of them take. The partner tier is present in every one.
| Engagement | Team | Tiers drawn on | To mobilise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sentinel Diagnostic | 2 | One | Days |
| Governance programme | 4–8 | One and two | 2 weeks |
| Governed build | 8–20 | One to three | 3–4 weeks |
The part that never flexes
We scale the team. We never move the accountability.
Wherever delivery capacity sits, the named partner who signs your engagement is UK-based and carries it end to end. There is no moment where accountability transfers to someone who was not in the room at the start.
Specialists extend capability. They do not dilute accountability.
Scope, commercial terms, board delivery and final sign-off — always the same partner.
We do not introduce a supplier to a client that our people have not delivered with themselves.
The bench and the partner network absorb the peak, so your programme does not wait on our recruitment.
Every engagement is treated as confidential from first contact.
More on the firms behind the capacity: how we choose our partners.
How we choose, and how we enter
One test to get in. One rule once we are there.
The test. A sector qualifies if a serious failure in it degrades human life quickly and broadly. Capital stops moving. Material and carbon compound in the wrong direction. Food fails in days, not years. That test is why we are in three sectors and not in thirty.
The rule. Enter at whichever end of a sector will let us in, then travel the full length of it with the same machinery. In financial services we entered at the top, against the hardest scrutiny there is. In local business we entered at the bottom, at a shop with three staff. Both are the same method, priced for whoever needs it.
The pipeline
Everything starts in the Lab.
Work enters as a question we cannot answer, gets tested until we can, and lands in the sector it belongs to. Our sectors are at deliberately different stages, and this is the honest picture of where each one has reached.
| Sector | In the Lab | Discovery | Built | In service |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Financial systems | Sentinel & Citadel | in production | ||
| Local business food first | sites, shops, capability | trading | ||
| Carbon & waste sector discovery | Carbon Ledger | here now | ||
| Next robotics, spatial — in the Lab | dossiers |
Robotics and spatial intelligence sit where carbon and waste sat a year ago: open questions on the bench, with the governance problems arriving before the machines do. We publish them at that stage because that is the stage they are at.
Bring us the question
you can’t get answered.
Thirty minutes with a senior partner. No sales deck, NDA available beforehand. If a Sentinel Diagnostic is the right first step we will say so — often it is not, and we will tell you what is.
